Anything which provides a lasting satisfaction correspond to a real need
There are basic needs and needs born from what is available (produced). One must not be dogmatic about needs not being real needs
as needs are or should be depending much on the individual. Needs implied by Matter are fought by God as not real needs having nothing to do with afterlife. God eventually wins, but at the end.
The existence of Time is very important
The existence of a correct description of facts is very important. There is a tendency for less materialism but not always and not everywhere. In research, there is a need for deepened thinking. In work, the processes dysfunctions must be corrected so that the processes are capable (Statistical Control of Processes). There is a need to be Guinea pigs because, without calculated risks, there is stagnation.
Stagnation leads to deterioration
What is new is necessary and can therefore be expensive. What is new without being very complicated should be very welcome even if it requires deepened thinking. It is good to be both good strategist and tactician. It is thought that to be good tactician is the most important and that is why there are problems. One quality which is not often found is to know how to estimate how much time is needed to do a work with the quality required. In physics and mathematics, there is narrow-mindedness about what a research article should be as a list of questions is considered not good enough although David Hilbert published in 1900 a list of problems in mathematics. The research in our Age is not that good. I published a research in physics which does not belong to any existing specialty and that seems to be considered a reason good enough not to read it.

It seems that people find it difficult to understand that the existence of the Big Bang proves the existence of a second coordinate of time at the level of the elementary particles. Research about the second coordinate of time is relevant to the need of moving objects at high speed, need relatively recent, the previous being to move objects. The goal of the research is therefore simple, simple being stated in a small number of words. Distance could become less and less important. Studying needs is studying foundations of a socio-economical organization.
The study of needs refers to the definition of goals. Thinking about needs is a reference explicit or not of the definition of goals. People have to be aware of the need to finalize any work started. Nobody is describing well a transition to a more liberal economy. Lack of knowledge of decision makers worsens economic crisis. There is a need not to destroy the eco-system (Nature). It can be done from inventions or some restraint (keeping things under control or with self-control).
